German Kitchen Projects

This brave client of ours was carrying out a full house renovation when they contacted us!  The house sits perched on a hill with the most stunning views of the Spen Valley, and part of the brief was to take full advantage of those views! 

Our clients knew they wanted matt black and when you see how it contrasts with the lush green outdoors, we know it was the perfect choice!

With our client’s direction, we designed a functional kitchen packed with loads of storage and worktop space – yet looks so far removed from anything domestic!  To create a super-sleek design, we knew simplicity was key so by keeping everything the same matt black; from units to worktops, the kitchen flows and doesn’t jar.  We created a seamless look by framing the tall units, giving the illusion of them almost being built into the structure of the house and by fitting just one run of beautiful slim-line wall units, the end result is simple yet utterly striking.

Touches of luxury were added by using ovens from Smeg’s beautiful Dolce Stil Novo collection, a Bora Pure induction hob with downdraft extractor and a black Quooker boiling water tap.  And hat’s off to how our client has styled the kitchen – perfection!
